Travis was born in Anchorage, Alaska. Soon with his family moved to the Mat-Su Valley where he spent the first 25 years of life. In 2011 he decided to make some big changes in location (and his career) and made the long journey to Burke, VA. Growing up he was introduced to Massage Therapy early, his mother had begun practicing when he was just a baby but did not practice long. Hearing her speak of her schooling and the way she was able to help people sparked his interest in massage initially. His stepfather was a coach for American Legion baseball, this brought the learning of Sports Therapy as well as Sports Recovery Training to his attention.
Moving to Burke, VA he started down the path to his career as a Massage Therapist in 2012 at the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage in Falls Church, VA. While through school he was given a good core knowledge of Therapeutic Massage (Swedish as well as Deep-Tissue), he has tried his best to expand his knowledge, learning techniques such as Myofascial Release & Sports Recovery to name a few. Armed with his passion, skills, and the support of his family and friends he now offers the best of care to his clients around the Northern Virginia area, from helping the struggling over worked to find some peace and relaxation, to helping athletes recover from intense training.

Travis is extremely skilled, always knowing just what is needed when something hurts or is out of alignment. He allows the client to set the limits of pressure and to enjoy silence when needed, as well. I will continue to use this practitioner for as long as he is willing to continue working.

Travis is always professional and I'm never uncomfortable. Also, if I tell him I'm having pain or tightness somewhere, he often works the issue through by the time we are finished. I especially like that he listens to requests (more time on my back, less time here, etc.). He will check in once or twice during the session to make sure I'm comfortable.

Nikkie's journey with massage therapy began well before her professional career. Massaging family and friends as well as engaging in studies in the healing arts and holistic health was a rewarding pastime in her youth. After graduating high school Nikkie attended Temple University in Philadelphia and continued her studies in allied health care by obtaining her Bachelor's in Science majoring in Therapeutic Recreation, specializing in Geriatric care, Alzheimer's and Dementia. After completing an extensive internship in the Transitional Care Unit at The Abramson Center for Jewish life Nikkie accepted a position as Director of Therapeutic Recreation at Stapeley a Continuing Care Retirement Community. All the while continuing her studies in massage therapy and holistic health. Passion for Massage Although a rewarding position Nikkie's passion for massage therapy grew stronger and she decided to continue her academic pursuits by attending the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage in Falls Church, completing over 450 hours in training hours; moving on to work at a very successful high volume massage therapy clinic. Professional Massage Therapist As a professional Massage Therapist Nikkie works with individuals who have had previous injuries, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, stress induced pain, as well as clients looking for physical improvements through sports and swedish massage. Nikkie individualizes each therapy session to suit the specific needs of her clients while extending her knowledge, expertise, and encouraging clients to maintain self care and make healthy decision in between therapy sessions.

Nikkie is very professional and personable. I have never had a massage and needed relief from several medical issues which Nikkie has helped tremendously with. She focuses your massage towards your specific concerns and pays attention to results, looking for improvement and adjusting as needed. My first massage she did an in-depth evaluation of my weaknesses and since has been building on that progress.
