Andrea Rychel, Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Medical Massage Practitioner and Esthetician.
I live in Haskell, OK. If you need to schedule an appointment, be sure to call ahead of time at the office number 918-806-6910. I am not only licensed for massage, but I am also a licensed esthetician. Now I offer facials, peels, waxing and brow tinting, in addition to massage at 63 Degrees Massage and Spa in Broken Arrow.
If you have been by lately, you have seen that we are under new ownership and the name is changed to Essence Massage & Day Spa.
I am trained in Medical Massage, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Quantum Touch Massage, Healing Stone Massage, Paraffin Treatments, using essential oils & other spa techniques, as well as, Massage for Chronic Pain in Neck, Shoulders and Arms. As you may have noticed above, I can now do facials, peels, waxing and brow tinting, too.
My massage and facials are all about enhancing your well-being, de-stressing & relaxation by means of massage, facial or body treatments. Massages and facials are not just a luxury. They are an effective way to maintain and improve your health. Massage increases circulation, increases joint flexibility, eases stress, decreases pain, and boosts your immune system. (Who can afford to be sick? Make massage a preventive maintenance expense.) If more people could find a way to relax on a regular basis, the world would be less stressful for everyone. We would cope with difficulties better. The world would be less angry. I am more than willing to do my part to alleviate some of that stress & pent up frustration my clients experience.
I want my clients to feel at ease when they come to see me. 63 Degrees is a respite from the world around us & helps to put clients in a relaxed mental & physical state by the time they leave the office. When the occasion calls for it, I will incorporate other types of massage to get the best result for my clients.
One of the reasons I chose to be a massage therapist and now an esthetician is because I get a sense of satisfaction from helping others to feel better, and I can support myself while I do what I enjoy. How many of us get to work at what we enjoy? I do.
Another reason I came back to massage and skin care is that it allows me to engage in the ministry in a greater capacity. If I could do the ministry only, I would, but in this day and age, everything takes money. (Whether it's gas in the car to reach people or the cost of literature to aid them in their Bible study, or simply paying my own bills to help support myself & my family-- it all takes money.) So, I work at what I enjoy & help people when I can.
My husband is my biggest supporter & greatest contibutor to this effort. Without him, I am certain I would be working at a job I didn't enjoy, simply because it is a "dependable" income. He is a wonderful man and I wouldn't trade him for anything.

Massage Therapy
Esthetics
I am certified in Medical Massage. Medical massage is very specific, targeted massage to an injured area of the body. It is not relaxing, usually intense. deep massage of the muscle groups affected by injury or overuse. Typically, sessions are 15-30 minutes so as not to overwhelm the client's body with toxins released during treatment. It may take 6 or more sessions to resolve the issue. You should notice improvement within a session or two. How rapidly you recover also depends on you drinking your water, not aggravating your condition and doing the suggested stretches, exercise or both.
