Dana Golebiewski, LMT

After graduating from the New York Institute of Massage in 2007, Dana worked in a comprehensive facility that included neurosurgery, neurology, primary care, physical therapy and chiropractic care. During her time there she received certifications in Precision Neuromuscular Therapy, Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy, Thai Table Massage. In addition to Massage Therapy, Dana also received a Bachelor degree in Exercise Science from the University at Buffalo. With a never ending passion for learning and growing, Dana has recently become a Gyrotonic instructor and has been able to use massage techniques and Gyrotonic together to help clients heal themselves through movement.

Patient education is a big part of Dana's philosophy.In order for pain to be eliminated, you must stop the cycle, or alter the biomechanics that causes pain. Having the client work on their own between sessions with stretches and strengthening exercises allows massage to be more effective creating faster, and longer lasting results.
