Being well inside and out is what makes us happy, vibrant and alive! It is our birth rite, and as a Certified Transformative Wellness Coach and a Licensed Massage Therapist, I have the unique opportunity to be a synergistic tool for my clients to awaken to their own inner wellbeing, and provide the space for them to get in touch with their innate wisdom too. My goal is to bring this understanding to my clients and provide the service that will heal both their inner and outer selves. My expertise has been unfolding for the past 30 years. I have a deep passion to not only bring pain relief to those I touch, but also to create change on the inside that will have manifest results on the outside as well. My clients have ranged from top Olympic Athletes to premee babies in incubators shortly after birth. I can give the lightest touch, or the most intense structural alignment technique. A client recently said my tag line should be," You can Feel the Difference". All I know is that after 30 years I still love what I do and plan to for the next 30 years. hide

Thirty five years ago I was introduced to Massage Therapy and the moment I was touched, I had a feeling that my life was about to change. I was a young mother and was in the midst of a divorce and to say my life was stressful would be an understatement. I also had been diagnosed with Scoliosis at an early age, and at that time the treatment was to wear a torso brace, which resulted in weakening all my support structures around my spine. I also started receiving Chiropractic care which made a big difference in my neck and spine. I sought out a Structural Integration Therapist to help me realign my muscles in my entire body, that had been affected by wearing the torso brace for too many years causing debilitating spasms when I lifted improperly. This later, in 1988 resulted in a ruptured disc and pinched nerve between Cervical vertebrae 3&4. By telling you my back story you will understand that after I got immense relief for my muscle spasms and pain, I wanted to learn how to do the same for others. I began practicing massage in 1985, in Alabama twelve years before that state was licensed. I worked with Chiropractors, Personal Trainers, Salon Owners before opening my private practice in 1992. Two years earlier I had graduated from the Florida School of Massage and Hydrotherapy, in Gainesville. At that time they were rated the third best Massage School in America. In my early work I mostly did Sports Massage and Deep Connective Tissue Therapy after being Certified in an 80 hour advanced course. Most of my clients were top professional athletes and a few were Olympic Champion's as well. I became known for my deep specific work and started working with a Neuro Muscular Dentist on his patients who had severe cases of whiplash and facial distortions, and muscle spasms due to falls or accidents.
I look back on my thirty year career and what I'm most proud of is the man who came to me diagnosed as an incomplete quadriplegic. I had never heard this diagnosis before so had no idea how I would help him. He had a tumor removed from his spine at the base of his neck. He was told he would die if they didn't remove it, and might come out of surgery with some paralysis. As it was his thumbs had remained paralyzed. He presented to me with a neck that was twisted to the right, and both arms glued to his sides. He was unable to do the basic functions, including putting on his clothes and shoes. I basically invented the treatment I gave him which was throwing the kitchen sink at it to see what worked. After a year in my care all normal function had returned, except his paralyzed thumbs. At the end of our time together we both cried, and he to,d me I had returned his quality of life back to him so he could hug his five year old daughter. This is my passion to assist people in living the life they deserve to live, free of pain and restrictions.
I live on Hilton Head with my two saucy kitties Cheryl, and Chloe. In my spare time I love to read, watch dancing shows on tv, and enjoy the beautiful nature that surrounds us. hide
