It was my first visit. As such it was as much of a get acquainted, figure out what my issues are and how to best address them session as an actual intensive therapy session. However, Victor was attentive, engaging, and extremely professional. I am very optimistic about developing a patient/therapist relationship that will be mutually beneficial. His willingness to accommodate my therapy preferences in addition to his knowledge of the profession are qualities that are absolutely essential to me as a longtime massage patient. I am scheduled for 5 sessions this month with another 6 in the bank, so I’m sure to revisit my review as I progress. I recommend Victor to anyone interested in developing a professional, long-term and mutually beneficial relationship with a qualified massage therapist.

Told him of an existing condition surrounding my knee and he was extremely informative about the muscles involved without giving me a reason for my discomfort. He definitely loosened the muscles surrounding the knee which was a big help. I found out from a doctors visit, it’s arthritis of the knee and it’s also in the hip.

I’ve been going to Victor ever since I moved to Bluffton. He is more tuned in to my needs than any previous massage therapist. When I have a sports injury, he concentrates on that area until the problem is resolved. When I just need some pampering, he switches gears and is just as good at that as with s sports injury. This is not a “spa”. It is a room space in a gym in a strip mall setting. Victor has very good massage skills, but his people skills need a lot of work. He is not warm, welcoming, or very personable. I tried to make conversation, he was not interested in this. After the massage was over, he left the room. I didn’t see him anywhere in the gym, he disappeared. I wanted to give him a tip, but there wasn’t anyone around to take it! The whole experience was weird! I will not be going back.

I do not like the fact that the only way to contact Victor is through text messaging or the internet. I gave him my secondary (personal) email address and he had my phone number. He knew that I could NOT make it to an appointment prior to 2:15 - yet he changed it and notified me through my secondary email - not my phone - and did not seek a confirmation that I had received this notice. As a result - my 80 minute appointment was cut to 60 minutes. It is a little strange to walk into a retirement facility for a facial/massage. The message was nicely done - the facial was the worst that I have ever experienced.
