I have served three years on the staff of Sports Massage Therapists for the Kansas City Multiple Sclerosis Bike Ride 150 in Lawrence, Kansas in 2013, 2014, & 2015 under the direction of Touch of Weston : Massage Therapy & Neuromuscular Massage Therapy.
To start my career, I was a staff massage therapist for Indulgence Salon and Day Spa where I performed swedish, deep tissue, therapeutic and hot stone massages and at Healing Hands Chiropractic clinic where I performed swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, therapeutic and couples massage for patients and outside clients.
At Renuva, I performed cold laser sports massage as my main responsibility. I very much enjoyed this tool and found it to be very very effective when combined with massage to reduce inflammation and pain. I also received training on the decompression table, xrays and range of motion/flexibility assessment software.
Worked as a volunteer massage therapist for runners in the medical tent and in the athlete village in 2011 and 2012
This is my own business which I have worked since 2012 to present. I work from various locations, chair massage events, sports massage events, and home parties.
I joined Summit Rehabilitation and Wellness center in October of 2014 as an independent contractor to work with their physical therapy patients and build my own practice as well. I work together with the PT's to expedite rehabilitation, healing and offer relaxation to the body during their program and beyond.
