Healing the body to help heal the mind

Hello! KayLynn here, taking some time to write about what I think is most important to know about me. First and foremost, I LOVE massage, I have had this love for massage since childhood. Hello! KayLynn here, taking some time to write about what I think is most important to know about me. First and foremost, I LOVE massage, I have had this love for massage since childhood. Growing up around those in pain, I saw how debilitating it can be but after seeing the benefits of something as simple and as short as a 10-minute shoulder massage and the relief those receiving them got is where the passion for massage came from.

My goal in my massage practice is to assist in relieving the pain of those who come to see me so that they can live a more fulfilling life. I know living a life in pain is debilitating not only physically but also mentally. The inability to play with grandchildren, walk to the mailbox, do day-to-day life activities, or simply get out of bed for the day due to pain will cause one's mental health to plummet. I believe that a pain-free body helps create/maintain a healthy mind.

Now for a hard truth that I must share, I am no magician or muscle whisperer, for some pain-free isn’t achievable, BUT I believe that less pain daily is. Little to no pain means the ability to LIVE life and not WATCH life as it passes by. I know on a personal level not only from those whom I have helped with pain but from the massage therapists who have helped me with pain, that living in less pain is achievable!

I have recently graduated from the WSC Massage Therapy Program! I am excited and eager to help all! Massage has many benefits other than pain relief. It can help with being stressed or feeling overwhelmed, depression, and anxiety, as well as lowering blood pressure. Come to see me for a session and let me help you feel better!
