A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Lemar graduated from Berea College in Berea, Kentucky in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Child and Family Studies. After serving in the social service field for two years and comprehending the affects of stress on families and their environment , Lemar decided to extend his reach of social service by attending Virginia College's School of Massage Therapy. In 2005, Lemar decided to open Life Touch Massage which provides professional massage services at an affordable price. As the owner of Life Touch Massage, Lemar provided educational material to churches, schools and other organizations teaching the benefits of massage therapy. Additionally, Lemar donates chair massage services throughout the year to individuals and organizations such as, the YWCA, to promote positive, caring touch to those individuals who may have been neglected and abused. In 2006, Lemar was hired at the Renaissance Ross Bridge Resort and Spa in Hoover, Alabama. Two years later, Lemar was acknowledged for being the most requested massage therapist. In 2013, Lemar was recognized for his service with the Marriot's Spirit to Serve Award. Most presently, in February 2014, Lemar was published in B Metro Magazine as a Salon and Spa Superstar Massage Therapist for Renaissance Ross Bridge Resort and Spa. Also, in 2014, Lemar was nominated by Governor Bentley to serve on the Alabama Board of Massage Therapy. Lemar utilizes his massage therapy craft to serve the public through education, fund raising, and charity. Lemar believes that all life begins with touch and that through touch we are all connected.

This was my first time seeing Phillip. The experience was overall good. He worked some areas that I didn’t know needed attention. Phillip also checked in with me during the massage. I did have some questions the next day after the massage and he was willing to answer those as well. I will be back to see him.

This massage was very last minute and I was desperate due to nerve damage in my hip. I am a professional dancer and have has my share of massage therapist, but this gentleman right here was amazing! Overall 5 stars and I will be back! He also has a wonderful personality and if you're like me your massages will probably be painful at times. He rolled right with it with the kindness of a true gentleman. His skill level is truly impressive! I think the last time I encountered someone with his skill level was a fellow dancer in New York City who was also a massage therapist for the dancers in the company. His quality of professionalism is something I rarely encounter. He did nothing without explaining what he was doing, he listened to me, he is very thoughtful, and thorough. All covid-19 safety measures were taken and he took that very seriously! Had my temp taken, gloves were worn, I had to take a survey, etc. This gentleman is safe, kind, and professional. I highly recommend him!

It was a pleasure to meet Felicity and have her for my Swedish/Deep Tissue Massage; she was very professional but also very personable. Her technique was wonderful; smooth transitions from one part of the body to another, and her hands were SO warm...almost like she was holding them over a heat source; she wasn't, of course, but it felt great to my muscles. It was so relaxing that I wanted to drift off, but I didn't want to miss a single second of the massage! I highly recommend Life Touch Massage, and Felicity!
