Matt received his massage training from the College of Lake County in Grayslake, Illinois in 2011. Prior to his massage training, he received a Bachelors of Arts in Biology and Environmental Studies from Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois in 2010. Matt is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Matt began his massage career at the Illinois Bone & Joint Institute, an orthopedic healthcare facility where he worked in conjunction with physical therapists, occupational therapists and athletic trainers to help relieve pain and stress, help rehabilitating various surgeries and injuries, and help athletes prepare and rejuvenate from their various sporting events.

Matt believes that "alternative healthcare" should be considered a preventative and maintenance healthcare and utilized by everyone in order to optimize our health and wellness. His goal is to help every person who comes to see him get the best results possible. He will customize every massage to each individual client's needs, thus no session is the same.

This was my second appointment. The first was an hour with a Groupon. This one was an hour and a half. Mat focused both sessions on my neck, shoulders and back. I get very tight in these areas. His techniques are outstanding. Each person's session is unique. I feel much better. I could feel during the second session there were less knots he had to get out. I've gone to other therapists and some were good but Matt is head and shoulders above the crowd. I definitely will be going back. Next time I'll try full body. I really appreciate the evening hours as well as loyalty pricing for those who return.

I have fibromyalgia and go hardly walk when I visited Matt for my massage. He did an amazing job loosening my muscles and relieving my pain. Matt took time to check with me to be sure he was using to right amount of pressure and that I was comfortable throughout the massage. I highly recommend seeing Matt for your next massage!

All I can say is that Matt is unbelievable! My right foot and knee have been awful for 8 years and I had exhausted all avenues of pain relief. After only a couple of massages, my pain and swelling have lessened to the point of being able to wear regular shoes and walk for more than a couple of minutes. The atmosphere at Green Havens is serene and very calming. Matt is a genius at his work. I recommend him wholeheartedly.
