Blue Lotus Bodyworks was created to help "grease the wheels" of the body, smooth out the "knots", and help soothe tired sore muscles. We live in a fast paced, stress-filled, confusing world and our bodies take it all in. We tend to hold onto lots of things that aren't good for us (toxins, stress, emotional blockage, etc) and I have created an in-home stress free zone with my practice to help release the blockage in your body, rejuvenate your spirit, and bring balance back into your life. You can park right outside my door and feel at ease about parking. If you feel like staying in the comfort of your own home, I also provide mobile massage. Maybe I have never had a proper therapeutic massage before, but I have never actually felt the effects of a massage for days afterward like I did with Gretchen and Blue Lotus. Sometimes the massage was not what I would call "comfortable," but now, a few days later, I am much, I don't know how to describe it... I guess "looser?" She also explained things as she went, which I found helpful. Really well done. Thank you!

I was scheduled for a reflexology session, but when I arrived I was limping because of a sore hip. After a brief conversation, Grethen decided a massage would be a better use of my time. Her massage was EXACTLY what my body needed. I left the massage table invigorated. She also took the time to teach me a few stretches and yoga poses. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Gretchen!

Gretchen is a true healer and it is just a joy to be in her presence. I went in with locked up shoulders, neck and LB from a lot of driving and computer work. In a 90 minute session she was able to unlock a lot of my pressure points and provide me with a ton of relief. 3 days later I feel fantastic. I would definitely recommend her to anyone suffering from chronic or sudden musculoskeletal pain. Her studio is comfortable and welcoming. Gretchen is extremely friendly, professional and relatable. 10/10 looking forward to my next sesh!

Gretchen was able to pinpoint every single pain spot I have, which is hard to do since I suffer from fibromyalgia. I 10/10 recommend going to see her for stress relief or if you struggle with everyday pain like I do! Definitely will be going back.
