Nearly eight years of walking alongside others on the path to healing and wellness have taught me it is not only possible, but natural for us to feel ease and delight in our bodies. Nearly eight years of walking alongside others on the path to healing and wellness have taught me it is not only possible, but natural for us to feel ease and delight in our bodies. It is an immense joy and privilege to witness the relief, progress, and life-affirming discoveries clients achieve throughout the course of our work together.
My fascination with the human experience and potential for healing led me to earn a B.A. in psychology at Western Washington University in 2008 and, shortly afterward, to study Transpersonal Psychotherapy as a graduate student at John F. Kennedy University in California.
In 2011 I was introduced to body therapy at McKinnon Body Therapy Center in Oakland, California, where I studied various modalities including Barefoot Shiatsu, Craniosacral Therapy, Reflexology, and Acupressure.
After relocating to Washington, I completed a comprehensive 700 hour program in clinical massage therapy at Northwest Academy for the Healing Arts in Seattle as well as the three-part Craniosacral Therapy series at Bastyr University.
Since then, I’ve worked in various settings including clinics focused primarily on injury treatment and medical massage. I make it a priority to continually expand my therapist toolbox by regularly taking continuing education classes on topics including: treatment for whiplash, back pain, and headaches; active isolated stretching; intraoral massage; pregnancy massage; cupping; advanced Craniosacral Therapy techniques; and trauma sensitive approaches to bodywork, to name a few.
I love what I do and look forward to working with you on the path to optimal recovery, wellness, and resilience.
