8 years ago I began my journey of developing a holistic health practice to meet my local community's wellness needs and massage therapy has remained the stable foundation in my professional offerings. I began by completing a 720 hour muscular therapy program, and continued on to complete several hundred hours of injury and rehabilitation training and experience in a 1 year sports massage internship. I use a trauma informed approach in my practice and I specialize in working with clients who experience chronic pain. In addition to deep tissue and sports massage I also offer relaxation massage, reflexology, reiki, prenatal massage, and woman's health services. I am intuitive by nature, warm, nurturing and thorough in my work.
For over 3 years I've worked with pregnant families, providing childbirth education, emotional support and physical comfort measures in the birth room to help make labor more manageable as a Birth and Postpartum Doula and Childbirth Educator.
My office is located inside of the Robin's Nest, a beautiful shop featuring natural products from local artisans. We have a lovely indoor water fountain, a community tea table where you will often times meet friendly people relaxing and doing handcrafts, organic herb and veggie gardens out back and 2 lovable Boston Terrier pups that often snuggle there during the daytime store hours. In addition to providing wellness services at the shop, my professional offerings also include teaching Reiki Certification classes, a variety of workshops and facilitating group circles. hide
