About Us

After working as a registered dietitian in area hospitals and nursing homes, and raising three children, I became a massage therapist. This career choice has brought immeasurable reward to me over the last 10 years. You may have heard that the benefit of massage therapy is essential to our overall well-being. It IS TRUE! I have testimonials from folks who have benefited tangibly and profoundly. Hot Stone Massage

Smooth stones are heated and then lubricated with coconut oil, the therapeutic effects of heat are used to relax muscles more deeply. Used as an extension of the therapist’s hands, the use of massage stones induces deep relaxation and provides a unique experience many find to be tremendously calming and centering. Garshana-Abhyanga Ayurvedic Massage

An ancient Ayurvedic skin polishing and warmed-oil massage treatment. The treatment begins with fresh lemon and Himalayan Pink Salt applied to the feet. The skin is then dry brushed using raw silk gloves to rejuvenate and exfoliate. Once the skin is polished, warmed herbal oil is drizzled and massaged deeply into the muscles using therapeutic techniques for optimal relaxation and over-all well being. Donna is a graduate of the North Eastern Institute of Whole Health in Manchester, N.H. She is trained in several modalities such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Himalayan Salt Stone Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Trigger Point, Sports Massage, Pregnancy Massage, and Seated Massage. She has received extensive training in Positional Release Therapy, which incorporates Strain/Counter Strain and Muscle Energy Technique, from the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Wellness in Stockbridge, MA. She is also certified in Myofascial Mobilization Technique, Pre/Peri-natal Massage (Carole Osborne- Body Therapy Education), and received continued education in Cranio-Sacral Technique by the Upledger Institute and Lymphatic Balancing-Total Body of the D'Ambrogio Institute.
Prior to becoming a massage therapist, Donna obtained a B.S. degree in Nutrition in 1984, and became a nationally registered/state licensed dietitian. After working as a dietitian in area hospitals and nursing homes, while raising three children, she returned to school seeking a career change in 2009.
After becoming nationally certified and licensed in the state of N.H. as a massage therapist, she has seen her clients benefit tangibly and profoundly. Her goals, as a therapist in massage, are to facilitate one's own capacity to self-heal, and to reduce symptoms of stress and anxiety.
