Hello, my name is Deborah Black and I am the owner of Beaufort Massage & Bodywork. I am Board Certified and have been practicing massage therapy for over 20 years using creativity, knowledge and intuition to serve others. I specialize in neck/shoulder pain relief. The
techniques that I use range from Myoskeletal Alignment, Deep tissue, Cupping, and
Ashiatsu to fit your needs.
I became a Massage Therapist because when I was a United
States Marine I was in a roll over car accident. Unfortunately I received a
residual injury to my neck and I learned that massage and chiropractic care was
what got me through to healing. I specialize in the concept of treating the

Debbie is very Accommodating, Friendly, and Above All, Professional. I was new to Beaufort at the time I didn't know where to go to get a massage. So, after looking online, I came across Debbie's Massage and Bodywork. After reading her reviews I decided to book a massage with her, even though she was booked up for over a month (which I thought was another good sign of her services) but Covid took precedent, as well as I had complications with my pregnancy, so my massage had to be put on hold. So, over a year has gone by since then, and although I'd forgotten about the massage, I received an email letting me know she had some openings, so I jumped on the opportunity. (Twins and a 3 1/2 year old will give anyone a need for a massage) after replying, Debbie called me right back and scheduled me a massage for a week later! Upon meeting her, i found she made me feel very comfortable and aside from my massage being AMAZING, her place is very quant, quiet, and personal. Therefore, I Highly Recommend Debbie if you are looking to get a great massage at a reasonable price,l. Having several in the past that felt more like Swedish ones, I had all but given up on finding someone that could truly work through my muscle tension. Her knowledge of the body became apparent almost immediately. She focused added pressure on areas that my chiropractor noted at the appointment I had two days prior. (And they do not know each other!) Her strategic approach to balancing the body's reaction to the release of energy is undoubtedly a gifted skill that she has refined through her years of experience.
