Hi, my name is Shanna Wade I am a licensed massage therapist in Pennsylvania . I graduated from Massage Academy of the Poconos in May, 2015. I love being a licensed massage therapist, and I am constantly honing my skills, learning new techniques, and adding modalities to my “massage tool belt” to better serve my clients. My genuine passion for helping others coupled with my interest in anatomy and physiology is what first drew me to massage therapy. Experiencing first hand and witnessing the undeniable benefits time and again is what has kept me in this amazing and diverse field. Through my massage education I was introduced to neuromuscular massage therapy modalities which I began using to help alleviate my own chronic neck issues. Massage therapy has also been a tool that’s helped lower my stress and anxiety in a natural and effective way. My continued goal is to help others ease their pain, increase mobility, relax the nervous system, lower stress hormones, and to help facilitate their specific short and long term wellness goals. My approach to treatment is holistic, logical, and ongoing. I use my knowledge of the body and how it functions along with the information I receive from the client to create a comprehensive treatment plan where they get the most out of each session. By having this optimal client-centered approach the benefits from the massage will stay with the client between scheduled sessions with me.
