For over 15 years, Sean has worked with athletes of all abilities to reach their goals through a holistic approach to fitness. All individuals, whether pro-athletes, adaptive athletes, weekend warriors and busy professionals that want to stay fit, thrive with a holistic approach to fitness. After years of helping his clients through injuries, compensations and other problems while stressing the importance of recovery, Sean decided to take a more hands-on approach.
Using his strength/functional and endurance training as a foundation, Sean obtained his license in massage therapy and has added different modalities of manual therapy to his services to help his clients better take care of their bodies, whether for athletic endeavors or just every day movement. By combining manual therapy, strength, and functional training Sean helps his clients overcome compensation patterns that lead to injury.
When explaining my pain to Sean, his knowledge of the body and muscular system was very impressive. He dissected what was going on with, what I thought was hamstring pain, actually turned into hip problems. Being an athlete himself, I think he truly knows how the body functions. His passion for helping people also shine through onto his treatments.
Sean really knows the body and he teaches people how to create positive changes in their health & also their daily lives! I feel good during and after sessions with Coach Sean, and I'm thankful to work with him on a weekly basis!
Sean has the ability to really understand what is hurting and how that impacts my workouts. He is also very patient and helps me be patient too.
In 2013 Sean Ahmadi started coaching me for bicycle racing events. I had never met Sean when I started using him as a coach. Now I can truly say it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Sean's knowledge in how to get you ready for a race is what you will get by his training. If you want results - Sean Ahmadi is definitely your guy!
One of the things I truly appreciated about his coaching was the communication between himself and his athletes. Communication is so important to your success and how you are progressing. You never had to second guess with him. Great coach and now a great friend!
Coach Ahmadi is knowledgeable. I really enjoy working with him for personal training and massage. I highly recommend his services!
I was referred to Sean in 2013 a few incidents involving my bike resulted in PTSD. I went from being an avid rider of 12 years to struggling unsuccessfully to clip in and ride a block from my house. I tried everything I could think of for a couple months before I was introduced to Sean. I was told if anyone could get me back on my bike, it was him. ~45 days later I was riding again thanks to his patience and belief in collaborating with other professional resources. Sean really believes that fitness isn't just about strength or cardiovascular endurance. Those are just 2 pieces of the puzzle; mental state, diet, balance, stress levels, manual therapy, etc; they all play a part and affect each other. As someone who considered themself fairly fit and knowledgable about fitness, how I structure my workouts and how I look at my health overall has completely changed. And as I continue to work with him I continue to learn more and more.
