I became interested in kinesiology in 2011, when I suffered a knee injury during my lunchtime workout because I was moving too quickly through a set; a small tear in my left meniscus (the spongy tissue that pads the space in your knee joint). It changed the way I move, permanently; not only that but it struck me out of nowhere. From that point on, out of necessity, I was absorbed in healthy movement of the human body and pain management for pre-existing injuries.Turning that knowledge outward seemed like the logical thing to do.
In 2012 I went to ABC School of Massage in Waco, Texas. In 2014 I began performing massage in Austin. I now operate out of my home studio at 2200 S 5th S. Outcalls are possible but a little extra. :)
My services are aimed at pain management and restoration of range of motion through myofascial release, Swedish massage, and stretching exercises.
My clients report feeling immediate improvement in their condition—either alleviation of discomfort or diminished levels of pain—immediately following the session; these improvements continue anywhere from four days to indefinitely after treatment. The peace of mind and relaxation of having received the therapy go a long way toward allowing you to focus your mind on more important things than your pain. Nothing would bring me greater joy than to watch your return to health. :)
I have a driveway for you to park in and a golden retriever to greet you when you get here.
If you have injuries, discomfort, or a need to relax, please schedule an appointment today. :)
