Changing my career going from a full time art teacher to following a dreams to start a business. From age nine a seed was planted of building a business while visiting an art gallery. From that moment sprang a desire to create a space that created a connection within and a since of belonging. My business is a correlation of practices into one platform.

Carmen is a skilled body worker with a gentle heart and a gentle touch and make no mistake, she can go deep when asked, and I did. Carmen checked in frequently on pressure, bed warmer temperature, etc. She kept me fully and appropriately draped of course, had nice music playing, only spoke when I did, presented me with aromatherapy at the start; it was all around such a pleasant experience.

William is an outstanding therapist in every way. He excels at multiple types of pressure (medium/ deep, etc) and listens to what you want, making sure that you are comfortable and enjoying your entire experience. William has a calming effect on people right away, and he readily engages in conversation or gives you the quiet time you need to relax. I can highly recommend William for people who need intense muscle release or for people who need to release unwanted stress, as he assists me with both. He provides a safe, stress-free environment where you can give your body the care that it needs.

I bought the Groupon. Made an appointment with a female therapist, because that is what I wanted. The day of the appointment was canceled due to an emergency. So we rescheduled for 2 weeks away. I made it very clear I wanted to be booked with a female therapist. Thought everything was all good. Show up for my appointment and I’m scheduled with a man. I have no doubt that their male therapists are just fine I just do not like to be in a closed room with a man due to reason I will not speak of now. I told them that would not be ok and the told me to get a refund from Groupon because they do not book massage appointments with women for new clients. So FYI you will not be able to book with a female at this establishment. So it took me a 6 weeks for them to tell me they won’t serve me.

Recently booked a Groupon for a massage. First off, the owner picked up the phone as I went to book my appointment and she told me she did not do gropon massages. I would have to schedule 3 weeks out because there wasn’t anyone available to do my massage. When I got there, I was told I had to have a male person to do my massage ! I was disappointment because I drove all the way from Catawba county. Overall the massage wasn’t bad minus the few interruptions because she had to turn on the music. I would not go back, the place is small, no space for social distancing.

We're so lucky to have Asheville Massage and Wellness here on the North side! Our regular massage therapist has been unavailable since March and finally said we should find another therapist and what a find this was! This is an "Asheville style salon" not a "cattle call, box store" arrangement. Carmen greeted me at the door of this warm and welcoming setting. After our session, we spoke briefly and she simply suggested I investigate their website about special offers and packages--no high pressure sales or lock in memberships with down payments. The ambiance was okay a little weird for a massage place. Located in a bldg lower level like a maze to get to. I prefer the room to be a bit darker but too much light from window coming in makes it challenging to completely relax.

The massage itself was good the location wasn't welcoming the room seemed cold and uninviting. I didn't get that warm fizzy feeling I don't think I would go back based on it. I realized the building was new for them in the decor lack what it took to draw me in.
