Jessie is absolutely amazing, she immediately put me at ease. The room was comfortable, there were the most lovely essential oils (optional), I was also amazed at how the room and the massage table was the perfect temperature! Jessie is a great listener and puts so much intentionality behind her work! P.s. don’t miss out on the hot rocks! Worth the hype!

The quality of my life has improved significantly as a result of having massages. I move better and without pain. I am given exercise suggestions to help me stay on track unlearning bad habits in my posture…and posture is a key to the system working well. It is a multi-sensory and multi-technique experience. Yesterday, eight hours after my massage, I noticed I felt lighthearted and younger! Every massage is different and focuses on what I need that day.

Great atmosphere and location close to but not right in the congested part of downtown with available parking. Very relaxing and professional, but not corporate spa at all thankfully! The whole Victorian era building is filled with massage offices so it is a really cozy space. I have received work from all the therapists on staff at Lighten Up and they are ALL excellent!

Specifically, I would say that she is someone you can schedule for a luxurious "treat" massage or someone that you can schedule if you need advice and treatment for a muscle problem or injury.
