MLD is a great way to achieve an improvement to lymph drainage without pain or long lasting adverse reactions. I've practiced this modality for the past 12 months and seen great results for clients.
This is a very useful therapy for both client and therapist that will enable a client to receive a release of tension on chronic knots in the muscle tissue without undue pain and discomfort. This modality offers great relief of pain and restores lost mobility in the muscle structure. You, as the client, are then able to move more freely and have more endurance in strength and repetitive motions.
Raindrop Technique is a powerful modality utilizing the antiviral, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory action of several key essential oils. It is one of the safest, non-invasive techniques available for spinal health. A Raindrop session begins with essential oils applied to the feet. Then oils are dispensed like drops of rain above the back and feathered and massaged along the vertebrae and back muscles. The oils continue to work in the body for up to one week, often with continued re-alignment taking place during this time.
This modality allows for deeper work to chronic tension areas by silicone cups that lift the tissues via light manual suction and glide movements with little to no negative sensation. It's great for stubborn trigger point areas that are too tender for manual manipulation.
