Self Care Facilitator as a Massage Therapist

I began my study of Wellness in college in the 80's and choose massage therapy as a way to facilitate a healthy lifestyle for myself, my family and my clients. In college I studied and graduated with degrees in Biology, Psychology and Holistic Health and Wellness. After starting our family I attended and graduated from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Arizona in 1995. I have trained and practiced as an doula (labor support) and am a licensed esthetician.

By integrating various modalities, Swedish, Myotherapy, deep tissue sculpting, etc. I create customized treatments for each client. I vary pressure, deep to moderate, depending on my client's needs that day. If you haven't received a LaStone massage, you must try it.

As an esthetician I offer personalized facials and full body hair removal (waxing). One of my favorite treatments is a massage/facial combination. And I enjoy massaging clients after a waxing session, a nice way to relax after.
