Slow Down: Our Fast Paced Lifestyles Are Stressing Us Out!

People are always on the go, trying to keep up with work, education, family, friends and just day to day living. The list is never ending and the pressures of keeping up cause not only emotional stress but many physical ailments.

I have personally experienced and understand the day to day stressors which wreak havoc on our minds and bodies. I have an amazing opportunity as a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to help people fight back against these physical ailments by reducing stress in the affected areas through providing a therapeutic healing massage to my clients.

I’ve been a LMT now going on five years after working in the security field for ten years. While attending massage school I specialized in the clinical side of massage. I worked for a well established Chiropractor for three years and gained a vast amount of knowledge and experience. I had the opportunity to work with a variety of clients with physical issues caused by automobile accidents, anxiety, depression, Lyme’s disease, fibromyalgia to post-surgical and chronic pain sufferers.

I love what I do and the greatest part is I never stop learning. If a client comes in with an issue I don’t understand, I will either research it or make every effort to point the client in the right direction to resolve their issue. I believe each client needs a personalized goal for their treatment plan and cannot be limited to just one modality. I find myself using several techniques and strokes throughout the massage based on pain, range of motion, sensitivity, and personal preference. These strokes and techniques include but are not limited to Swedish, Deep Tissue, Cross Fiber, Myofascial, Trigger Point, Reflexology, Lymph drainage and Clinical releases.

I am also a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner.  Kinesio Taping is a wonderful compliment to your massage therapy treatment plan. Kinesio Taping is a great technique that you can utilize separately without massage or between massage sessions to prolong the benefits of your massage.

Please give yourself the opportunity to make life more enjoyable and less stressful! Book an appointment today.

Jessica so was welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. She helped me understand why my back hurt and suggested alternatives other than massage to help me.

Jessica knows how to hone in on those muscles and points of tension that need the most attention, without making it a painful or uncomfortable experience. She is truly a special practitioner!

Very impressed with how well thought out the time was used to not only focus on my knee injury but to work on an overall full body massage routine as well.

I've been dealing with shoulder pain for the past few weeks. The pain subsided after my massage and even the following day there was a remarkable improvement.

Jessica is a wonderful therapist. She was able to provide exactly what I needed based on me explaining my back issues. My back feels better than it has in months. The office is warm, inviting and peaceful. I left there feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and feeling great. I will definitely be coming back.

Jessica had really reviewed my information, and past health history.

Jessica has a special touch. I have been dealing with chronic sciatic pain in my left leg and once I was done with Jessica, I was able to walk without any feelings of pain or discomfort. Her knowledge and curtailing to your needs is above the rest.
