I received my training in massage therapy at the Arcata School of Massage in 2008 after completing a Bachelor of Science Degree at Humboldt State University in Zoology in 2005. My passion for anatomy and physiology has only grown deeper since becoming a CMT. Massage therapy has provided me the opportunity to implement both my intuitive sense and scientific knowledge of the body into therapeutic and deeply relaxing sessions. I draw from the styles of Swedish, deep tissue, and myofascial release and use mindful techniques to address muscles based on their function and where they attach to the skeletal system.
