Kelle graduated top in her class from Medical Careers Institute, ECPI in Raleigh, NC. She performed her internship at Duke Integrated Medicine in Durham, NC. While in school for massage therapy she worked with area cancer support networks to provide chair massage to cancer patients. She continues to promote massage to all cancer patients in both the clinical setting and the home.
Prior to becoming a therapist she work for 13 years at Trinity Baptist Weekday Preschool, first as a teachers assistant then as a lead teacher. She developed after school and summer programs at her home. She worked with the preschool in its efforts to become a licensed facility. She received her North Carolina Early Childhood Education Credentials from Wake Technical Community College.
In addition to her teaching background she has been an Emergency Medical Technician, Certified Nurse Aide and Cardiac Technician.
When asked why she wanted to become a Massage Therapist she said "I have always worked in care and compassion fields and I wanted to find a way to bring them all together. Being a massage therapist allows me to take from each of these. I enjoy getting to know people, learn about the pain or stress they are feeling and find ways to help them. I call it empathy through touch. I may not be able to take their pain or stress completely away, but for the time they are on my table I will walk with them and maybe even carry it for awhile as they recuperate."
Kelle's other interests include spending time with her family, friends, swimming, movies, cooking out, music and day trips to the beach and mountains.
