I attended Brown College in Mendota Heights, MN, completing the Massage Therapy Certification program in 2006. I am a member of the AMTA and am also certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, (NCBTMB). I started my massage career wanting to help people in need of relief from pain and dysfunction. And I have worked side by side with Chiropractors in all of my years of practice. I now work out of City Chiropractic at two locations, one in Andover and one in NE Minneapolis. My clients include people needing relief from pain, either from injury, overuse, daily repetitive motion, or recovering from surgery. People that have had an auto accident injury. Pregnancy massage, and relaxation massage. And people that want to improve their athletic abilities. My massage is a mixture of Swedish, deep tissue and trigger point. I like input from clients and always try to meet their needs. Not everyone has the same pain tolerance or wants the same pressure. I enjoy meeting new people and always feel great if I can help them feel or perform better. Someone telling me that they had reduced or no pain after my massage gives me best feeling ever! In my off time I currently enjoy swimming on a masters swim team, running, going to MN Kali Group, and seeing my personal trainer. I also rescue dogs with my husband. We Foster for Heading Home K-9 Rescue. The most important thing that I've learned from rescuing dogs is that we are sometimes rescuing people too. Whether it's giving a person relief that their dog will be okay in rescue if they have to give them up, or its finding a new friend for someone.
