Hi I am Pearl, your licensed massage therapist. I chanced upon this career while recovering from an injury myself. Upon experiencing the benefits of massage, I decided to become a LMT so I can help others the way I was helped. This is my calling - helping clients via massage feels as natural as breathing. I've been a licensed massage therapist since 2009 and it's been a great experience helping people to continue to live a happier, healthier and balanced life through massage. I decided to become a massage therapist shortly after I realized I could continue my skills as a first class welder due to an accident on the job that caused my back to be seriously injured. The doctors gave me medicine to deal with the pain and even suggested surgery. I decided to search for a new career while deciding on surgery. I saw this add for school to become a massage therapist and I decided that would be my new career. I went to High Tech Institute to attain a license as a lmt. While learning my skills one of my instructors discovered my injuries by showing the class how to do neck massages on mind. My instructor explained to me how I could manage the pain and limited range of motion that I was feeling in my neck through massage. I tried it and it worked!! I've never felt better. That was the day I feel in love with massage and became a believer in Bodywork. I'm now a very effective LMT of over 8yrs. I'm committed to giving my clients the results they need upon request or discovery while in session! I'm consistent because I have a purpose to serve my clients within the scope of my profession!

Hello, I am a new massage therapist at Black Pearl Massage. For a long time, I've always felt within my heart that my purpose in this world is to help others, in whichever way I felt lead to. So, trying to find a career choice that allowed me to be creative, fell in line with my purpose, and was something that I'd enjoy, was quite tricky. After taking a year off once I graduated high school, I was debating on whether I wanted to follow the path of being a massage therapist or a graphic designer. In 2019, I decided to attend Valencia College to become a Graphic Designer. I enjoyed the process of being creative, but came to the realization after a few semesters, that the other areas I was looking to satisfy, weren't being fulfilled. Upon realizing that, I decided to drop out of college and just focus on finding a career in the workforce. It wasn't until the year of 2022 that the idea of becoming a massage therapist crept back into my mind and I felt the urge to take action right away. I immediately enrolled at Cortiva Institute, to launch the new career path set before me. Once I started school, I realized that I was in the right place. I finally found a career where I can embrace my creativity, assist others in feeling better, and something that I enjoyed.
After graduating, I got in contact with Pearl, and she has been such a wonderful guidance for me in the field as a massage therapist. Within my time spent with Pearl, I've become extremely confident with my techniques and pressure in both Swedish and Deep Tissue massages. I am eager to expand myself and my knowledge within the industry to be able to better assist anyone I get the privilege of massaging.

I was given medication for muscle tension but after a week I had to stop. It was affecting my job & health. I saw Pearl yesterday, walked out with more than i expected.For the last 4 years I've gone to massage envy, Eden spa, Aveda, the oriental health massage looking for relief and nothing like the Pearls experience.I got there 10 minutes late then I had to fill out paperwork, I was stressed. I'm down to 30 minutes like everywhere else. Not with her. She took a whole hour on my body and sent me to that commercial aqua blue. Where the sexy blue eyes couple are in a boat on water. I was there, at the beach in my own area. She walks you through a breathing process when needed and you can actually see your body relax and do the movements. This morning I woke up and saw the fat on my back gone. No joke. Massages can move the Stubborn fat. She has strong hands.
