My yoga journey started in the early 2000’s. After studying dance
through childhood and college, I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher certification
with Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Massachusetts. I have trained in multiple
traditions of mind-body exercise to include Oriental dance, Qigong, Yin Yoga
and Yoga Nidra (100 hour certification) to develop intuitive, well-rounded class experiences. Yoga was instrumental in relieving pain in my
shoulder and neck. I also had back issues which have greatly improved. By
sharing my yoga practice, I hope to help others feel better, get stronger and
have fun in the process.
I am a long-time vegetarian and animal lover. My husband and I care for two cats and two parrots that make our house a (sometimes noisy) joyful home.
