I have been a Registered Massage Therapist since November 2006; first in Ontario and now in Prince Edward Island.
My main work location is in Kingsboro (Souris) PE, at the base of Basin Head tide pool on East Point Road. Here I provide deep tissue massage, lymphatic drainage therapy, hot stone massage, thai herbal stem massage therapy, acupressure, ultrasound/TENNS therapy using Swedish, deep tissue and thai techniques. I also provide mobile massage therapy for those unable to access the clinic in the winter months during snow season.
I grew up in Ontario where I was a Police Constable with the Canadian Pacific Railway working of Toronto and Vaughan Detachments. After serving for 13 years with the railway, I went back to school and studied massage therapy at the now defunct Canadian Therapeutic College in Burlington. I became an RMT with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario in 2006. In Ontario, I owned and operated The Natural Health Clinic in Stoney Creek Ontario since 2004 and have worked as an RMT at The Natural Health Clinic since 2006.
I have an interest in massage therapy for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) clients and have furthered my studies in this area. I joined Serene View Ranch in March 2015 working there 1 day a week on Tuesdays.
I have continued my education taking courses in nerve mobilization for the upper and lower extremities; Acupressure; CranioSacral Therapy; Lymphatic Drainage Therapy, Hot Stone Massage, Thai Herbal Stem Massage and Thai Herbal Stem Facials, Kinesio-Taping for sports injuries, Ultrasound and Inferential Current/TENNS Therapy and Cupping Massage Therapy; and have incorporated these techniques in my practice.
I am currently studying Myoskeletal Techniques with Eric Dalton’s program.
You will find me to be a friendly, respectful and professional Registered Massage Therapist. hide
