My name is Tone Jackson. I am a licensed massage therapist and a certified yoga teacher. My intentions are for clients and yoga students to experience true results with a body, mind, and spirit approach. In addition, I believe in a holistic preventive approach to health. My work and expertise come from a lifetime of practice and years of experience as a certified yoga teacher and a licensed massage therapist. My work is based on knowledge from the old-ways healing standpoints, modern therapeutic science, and additionally from a personal experience of living a healthy and yogic lifestyle.

I am offering a professional touch, using the latest modern techniques, and combining the new world with old healing methods, to provide a holistic, individualized treatment.

Healthwork Yoga and Massage Therapy is a nurturing and sacred space for people of all ages to explore their spiritual awakening through the path of yoga and the healing of massage therapy. It is a place to enjoy the study of yoga and healthy living, by focusing on the body, mind, and spirit.

All massage therapy modalities are subject to change at any time (except for existing packages that are in use).

Cancellation policies for clients who book with MasterHealthSolutions HealthWork Yoga and Massage Therapy & Thai Massage Albuquerque:

When you book an appointment please keep in mind that your scheduled time is kept especially for you. If you are unable to keep your appointment, we ask that you kindly let us know 24 hours in advance.

Clients who do not show for their scheduled session and who has not let us know 24 hours in advanced that they are unable to keep their appointment, will be charged the full amount of the session cost.

Clients who arrive late will still receive treatment of what is left of the session time. However, we suggest that you let us know that you will be arriving late, especially if it is the first time at our studio.

A client who does not communicate that they will be late, and who has not showed up for their session after 20 minutes of the scheduled time, will be considered a no-show.

Massage Therapy Packages and Policies: when you purchase a massage therapy package, you have up to six months to use the package. If you go past the six months, you will lose the free session or the complimentary percentage that is offered at the end of the package.

If you have gone past the six months from the purchase date of your massage therapy package, you can schedule the remaining sessions that are left at your own discretion.

MasterHealthSolutions Healthwork Yoga & Massage Therapy, and Thai Massage Albuquerque cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen items. It is the clients and yoga students’ responsibility to keep their belongings safe, and to remember to bring their belongings with them after a session and or yoga session/class. However, if you forget an item, we will do our best to keep it safe for you until you pick it up. We will hold on to it for up to a year.

Our therapeutic massage modality is excellent for people who experience chronic stress and tension, which further leads to stress and pain in the body. This massage modality typically focuses at first, on postural analysis. A clinical massage therapist is trained in Orthopedic Massage, Myofascial release, neuromuscular, neural reset therapy, or structural release therapy. These modalities are normally used on painful areas caused by tendonitis, joint pain, nerve pain like sciatica, lower and upper back pain, and much more. It is not uncommon to add a 30-minute yoga session, or a 30-minute Thai massage before a deep tissue massage, as a matter of fact, we recommend it. Yoga and Thai Massage helps the client to feel looser and more relaxed before their deep tissue massage session, especially if they feel more tense than usual. Also, developing a yoga, or a simple stretching practice is always a good thing.

My teaching style and practice are based on my personal experience and studies with teachers and gurus such as Sharon Gannon and David Life founders of Jivamukti yoga. Other teachers that have influenced my practice and teaching is Swami Sankarananda and Swami Vishnudevananda from the Sivananda Yoga, as well as Norman Allen and K. Pattabhi Jois, Ashtanga Yoga, Rodney Yee and B. K. S. Iyengar, Iyengar yoga, and Dr. Vasant Lad, Ayurveda, plus many more.
My instruction encourages and teaches self-awareness through yoga breathing, yoga poses, and meditation. My teaching style is gentle enough for the yoga novice but is also challenging for the more experienced yoga practitioner. My primary focus is creating a balance and awareness of body, mind, and spirit for optimal health. All levels are welcome!
