As an educator with a master’s degree in education I sought an outlet to relax and rejuvenate back in 2007 when I stumbled upon reiki. I trained as a reiki practitioner to share these benefits with others. Learning reiki opened my eyes to the world of complementary care and how hospitals with integrative medicine departments offer massage, reiki, and other modalities to facilitate far more than relaxation. These tools helped people manage anxiety, pain, sleeplessness, and more. I became a reiki volunteer in Hartford Hospital’s cancer center in 2007 and had the privilege of working routinely with a brain tumor patient who inspired me to learn reflexology.

In 2008 I began training at the Connecticut Center for Universal Reflexology where I completed my certification as a reflexologist. Since that time I have worked with Ironman athletes as well as those suffering from a myriad of health issues including, anxiety, cancer, chronic headaches, sinus difficulties, ALS, and insomnia. I have also cultivated an additional passion for the profound health benefits of essential oils. Whether you integrate all of these tools, or select just one, my approach offers a unique opportunity to relax, restore, and redirect you.
