Who we are

Massage Sanctuary is a massage therapy and bodywork cooperative of dedicated and independently licensed massage therapists and bodyworkers who have come together to promote health and wellness in our community.

We are here to serve you on the path to wellness with devotion and enthusiasm.

Where We Are

4 School Street in Acton, MA

We are located in Acton’s historic Exchange Hall on the second floor. If you stand on the front balcony with your back to School Street we are through the door on the right and up a flight of stairs and to the left. You can park around the building or on the street. There is handicap parking on the left side of the building and the elevator is easily accessible from there.

Julie is a licensed massage therapist and bodyworker as well as a Master level Art Therapist. After working for many years as an Art Therapist and Outreach Director for RAW ART WORKS, a nonprofit studio based art therapy organization, Julie engaged in yogic study in India for two years. She teaches Ethics and Professionalism and Anatomy and Physiology at THE MASSAGE SCHOOL OF BOSTON, Art Therapy at Emmanuel College and Holistic Psychology and Yoga for Mental Health and Women’s Psychology at Lesley University. Julie holds a 200 hour Yoga and QiGong teaching certification from QI-YO MULTIUNIVERSITY..
The intuitive and practical nature of the body-oriented therapies and the desire to improve the lives of each person that she has the honor to work with are the inspirations for her work. Julie serves as the director of Massage Sanctuary both seeing clients in a private practice and hosting events where master teachers can come in to share their wisdom.
