My background is primarily spa work, but I often surprise my clients with more detailed, anatomy-centered work, including stretches. My massages typically begin face-up so we have plenty of time to work out the traps and neck muscles, a common area of tension in clients. And the last area I work is the back, as you probably could have guess, saving the best for last. All that being said, I can tailor each session to your needs.
My massage journey began in July 2015 at Central State Massage Academy. By February 2016 I was licensed and practicing at a well-established day spa in the OKC metro. Months later I graduated from CSMA at the top of my class and passed the Massage and Body Work Licensing Exam.
Not long after, I moved to Santa Fe, NM to explore other aspects of bodywork and surround myself with some of the best in the field. There I found myself at BODY of Santa Fe, a local favorite for serious bodywork and healing therapies, as well as occasional work at Nidah Spa in the Eldorado Hotel. I get to work the best of both worlds, practicing the more therapeutic work that I love at BODY and pampering clients in a high end spa environment at Nidah.
I may be relatively new to the field but my knowledge is fresh, up to date and ever growing, and my enthusiasm is strong. I believe in massage and bodywork as a dynamic part of self-care and healing, both emotionally and physically. It is amazing what the body can do to heal itself when functioning optimally.
