I graduated from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 2000 with a B.S. in Biology. After getting my degree and working in laboratories, I wanted a more hands-on role in helping people. I decided to go to massage school and graduated from the Birmingham School of Massage in 2005. I have been a licensed and insured massage therapist in the state of Alabama for 11 years. I am also board certified with the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.

I have only ever lived and worked in Birmingham, AL. My husband and I have just relocated to Daphne after he accepted a position in this area. We have been married for just over 6 years and have been foster parents in Jefferson County and now Baldwin County for just a little over a year. We have 3 grown kids and a grandson in Birmingham and a little girl here with us in Daphne.
